Vietnamese Coffee – A Guide

Vietnamese Coffee – A Guide to Taste and Preparation

Vietnamese coffee is known for its rich flavor, strong Robusta, and traditional phin filter. Phinland Coffee brings Vietnamese coffee culture home: our selection includes Arabica, Robusta, Culi, and Saigon Blend coffees.

What is Vietnamese coffee?

Vietnamese coffee culture is strongly linked to the phin filter. Read the basics of phin preparation and learn how the slow drip extraction works.

Arabica, Robusta, or Culi?

Arabica is a soft and aromatic option. Robusta Premium is stronger and fuller-bodied. Culi offers an intense and roasted coffee experience. Saigon Blend combines different Vietnamese coffee profiles into a balanced blend.

How is Vietnamese coffee prepared?

The easiest way is to use a phin filter. Place the coffee in the phin, moisten the coffee with a small amount of hot water, and let it bloom for a moment. Add more water and let the coffee drip slowly.
