It all started with a cup of coffee in Vietnam.

In my wife's hometown, her cousin owns a small coffee shop. There, we experienced something that wasn't just good coffee – it was a moment to pause, enjoy, and be present.

In that moment, we understood what Vietnamese coffee culture truly is at its best.

Especially cà phê sữa đá – Vietnamese iced coffee with condensed milk – stuck in our minds. Rich, strong, and unique, in a way we hadn't found in Finland.

That led to a question that wouldn't leave us alone:

Why isn't such good Vietnamese coffee more easily available in Finland?

Phinland Coffee was born as the answer.

Vietnam meets Finland

The name Phinland tells us where we come from and where we are going.

"Phin" is a traditional Vietnamese coffee filter, used to brew coffee slowly, drip by drip, respecting traditions.

"Land" is Finland – the place where we want to bring this coffee culture.

We combine two worlds: Vietnam's decades-long coffee tradition and the Finnish appreciation for quality coffee.

Coffee that gives permission to pause

For many, coffee is fuel – a quick way to wake up and get going.

We want to offer a different kind of moment.

Phinland Coffee isn't a quick cup before rushing out the door. It's a coffee moment: time to pause, time to enjoy, time worth sharing with someone.

We succeed when, after the first cup, you think:

"Where has this coffee been all my life?"

Authentic taste from Vietnam

We carefully select our coffee, together with our Vietnamese partners. Quality, origin, and requirements must be met – but above all, the coffee must taste authentic.

My wife's family is also involved in this work, with a lifelong understanding of what good Vietnamese coffee should taste like.

Phinland Coffee doesn't just want to be a coffee brand. We want to bring a piece of the Vietnamese way of life to Finland:
